Gabby Concepcion is set to return to TV via the much-anticipated GMA Drama series 'My Father's Wife.'
Versatile TV-movie star Gabby Concepcion will return to acting via the family drama series My Father's Wife.
The former matinee idol's last TV project was the primetime series My Guardian Alien with Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera in 2024.
In an interview with Gabby during the story conference, he expressed his excitement to do this big project with GMA-7.
“Another beautiful project once again with GMA, medyo matagal na rin ako na hindi nakagawa after ng concert.
“This is a very exciting project, maganda 'yung title natin ngayon, My Father's Wife. It's a really nice project, maganda 'yung istorya niya. Magaganda 'yung story ng bawat characters and again this is a different project hindi katulad ng mga nagawa natin noon.”
He added, “Meron mga twist din siya siyempre na aabangan na lang natin 'pag napanood natin.”

GMA Entertainment Group assembled a stellar cast for My Father's Wife composed of Kylie Padilla, Kazel Kinouchi, Jak Roberto, Arlene Muhlach, Andre Paras, Sue Prado, Maureen Larrazabal, and Snooky Serna.
This early, Sparkle prime actress Kylie Padilla is already looking forward to acting alongside Gabby Concepcion.
“I'm very excited siyempre and maganda rin 'yung kuwento namin bilang mag-ama dito sa show na 'to. I'm very excited to explore that with him. Very interesting 'yung story.”
Meanwhile, Kazel Kinouchi admitted that feeling a bit nervous doing her role in My Father's Wife. She explained, “Siyempre kinakabahan ako, kasi, first-time ko rin magkaroon ng ganitong role. From my previous role parang pabagets-bagets lang. Dito I have to be like more serious, more mature.”
Meanwhile, Gabby wants to do some workshop with Kylie and Kazel, whom he will be working for the first-time to break the ice.
“Masaya na makatrabaho ko sila for the first-time We expect [na] magkakaroon kami ng workshop and I hope in this workshop ma-break ang ice and I'm sure magiging masaya rin naman.”
