Wala nang ikinagugulat si Gabby Eigenmann when it comes to playing bad guys. Kaya naman when his script for 'All About Eve's' finale week arrived, hindi na siya nasorpresa sa mangyayari sa character niya. Pero ano nga ba ang mangyayari sa character niya? Text by Jason John S. Lim. Photos by Mitch S. Mauricio. "At the end of the story, siyempre crime has to pay." That was the statement na ibinigay ni Gabby Eigenmann sa last taping day ng All About Eve. And, of course, he's saying this with his character's fate in mind. Max is a bad guy who is always looking out for number one: himself. And Gabby has had a lot of experience playing bad guys. Ang wish niya lang lagi, is that every time a character would die, is "I hope it matters." There are three deaths in store for viewers of All About Eve sa finale nito. Gabby quickly reveals that he's the third one: "Supposedly, one has to die. [But] it became two. Definitely, I'll die in the end, I'll be the third one." "Crime has to pay," iginiit ni Gabby. Ika nga, siya ang sacrifice ng show para makuha ang happy ending ng mga remaining characters—well, as happy an ending as they can get with the two character deaths na mangyayari pa. "Since nalalapit na ang pagtapos ng All About Eve, I guess people should watch 'yung lahat ng masasamang nangyari eh nale-layer out na. Para smooth sailing na 'yung buong storya. Abangan na lang nila kung ano 'yung mangyayari—kung sino 'yung mamamatay," dagdag niya. And since siya na nga 'yung third one, Gabby teases, "Hulaan na lang nila 'yung dalawa." Hindi pa man tapos ang show, Gabby is already missing the cast. Then again, siya kasi ang pinaka-lugi when it comes to bonding time: "Kasi nga, iba-iba 'yung mga locations namin. Bihira kami magsama-sama lahat. Pero now, almost everybody's here. So iba 'yung feeling." "Nakaka-sad," inamin ni Gabby, about the show ending. "Pero happy na rin, kasi everyone's looking forward to their next projects." So ano ba ang next project ni Gabby? "So far, wala pa," Gabby says. He's used to the waiting game naman daw. "When they need me naman, I'm always there." For now, kuwento niya, he'll keep busy with his boxing muna and writing new songs: "I've been writing lately, hopefully for my third album.
