Versatile TV-movie actor Mark Gil died at the age of 52 after his two-year battle with liver cancer.
Versatile Kapuso actor Gabby Eigenmann paid tribute to the man who shaped his life, Mark Gil.
In his post via Instagram, Gabby shared a throwback photo with his father to mark his 7th death anniversary. Gil succumbed to liver cancer in 2014 at the age of 52.
Several celebrities reacted to the tribute post of the actor including his half-sister Andi Eigenmann.
Andi is the daughter of the late actor with internationally-acclaimed actress Jaclyn Jose, while Gabby is his son with commercial model/actress Irene Celebre.
Mark Gil, whose real name is Raphael Joseph De Mesa Eigenmann, was one of the three children of Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil.
His parents and siblings have also made their own mark in show business as well-respected actors.
