The actor has been fondly called "Cupcake" for years, but how did he earn the sweet moniker?
While Gardo Versoza is known for his many roles, Gardo is also making rounds on the internet for his warm and funny image.
The Kapuso actor has gained internet fame for his comedic antics and viral TikTok videos while dancing in heels.
His lively personality fits his nickname "Cupcake," which his fans and friends have been fondly calling him for years.

But what's the story behind his nickname? Many fans have speculated it was given to him by other actors, some say it was from a past role.
"Doon sa mga naunang teleserye ko dito. Doon nanggaling 'yun, dumikit na lang,"reveals Gardo during a Facebook live stream for Agimat ng Agila Season 2 where he will be playing the role of Zeus Limjoco.
Meanwhile, Gardo is eager to join the cast of the show. He was previously seen on GMA Drama for First Yaya.
"Unang-una nagpapasalamat ako sa GMA, and kay Senator (Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr.) kasi nabanggit ko sa kanya na matagal ko nang pinapangarap na mapasama sa pelikula o sa TV. Isa siya sa mga haligi ng action genre," he said.
When asked about his role, Gardo said he'll be playing a kind yet mischievous antagonist. "Mabait akong kontrabida. 'Yung tipong hindi mo isipin na magkakabangga kami ni Major Gabriel (Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr.)
"Ibang klaseng pagka-kontrabida siya," he concluded.
