Garrett Bolden talks about auditioning for international competitions and what he learned from those experiences
Kapuso Soul Balladeer Garrett Bolden opened up about his experiences in auditioning for international singing competitions.
In a recent GMA Playlist episode, Garrett said, "Kung ako meron akong pangarap, sobrang daming iba na meron ding same na pangarap. Nasa sa'yo na lang how you will represent yourself at napakalaking tulong talaga when you give your heart sa performance. Kung mabibigyan po ako ng chance and GMA lets me and supports me if I want to join other competitions or anything international gagawin ko po."
Garrett has previously auditioned for X-Factor UK, America's Got Talent, and American Idol before landing in the Top 5 of The Clash Season 1.
Currently, he is a mainstay of the musical variety show All-Out Sundays.
He shared, "Sobrang nakatulong po talaga dahil 'yung mga Kapuso they get to see me at least once a week sa GMA. Kahit nasa panahon tayo ng pandemic at sobrang limited 'yung outlet kung saan puwede ako mag-perform, na-re-recall pa rin ako ng mga tao, nakikilala pa rin nila ako. Sobrang laking tulong po talaga ng pagiging part ko ng 'All-Out Sundays.'"
Recently, he released a track called "Our Love" under GMA Music, a self-composed song inspired by his late father who passed away in the US.
