Gary Valenciano to his first grandson, Luciano Mikael: 'I am your grandfather.'
Mr. Pure Energy Gary V shared his proud lolo moment as he introduced his first grandson, Luciano Mikael, on social media.
Luciano Mikael, or simply Luc, is the second child of Gary's son, concert and events director Paolo Valenciano, with his wife Sam Godinez. Paolo and Sam welcomed Luc on Friday, February 3, and have an older child named Leia born in 2016.
On Instagram, the iconic singer shared a heartwarming moment between him and the newborn baby and wrote a touching message for his grandson in the caption.
Gary said, "I can't wait to carry you and tell you many stories about the greatest force in the universe…the love of God!!! I know this force will be strong in you. Pappie is here for you just like I'm here for your sister Leia.
"I thank the Lord for you. I love you Luc."
Gary V then told his apo, “I am your grandfather!”
Gary V's wife, Angeli Pangiinan-Valenciano, also took to social media to announce the arrival of their first grandson, whom she said, " the only one in the Philippine clan left in the Philippines with Gary's family name."
Meanwhile, Paolo's brother, Gab Valenciano, declared his commitment as a godfather to his one-day old nephew, saying "I promise to be the best ninong I can be for you."
