Gary Valenciano and Angeli Valenciano

“It was a scare but she did have it indeed, but my wife Angeli is finally free of COVID-19,” shares Gary Valenciano.

Gary Valenciano proudly shared an update to his fans about the wellbeing of his wife, Angeli, after contracting the coronavirus disease nearly two weeks ago.

On Instagram, Mr. Pure Energy announced that Angeli is officially free from the virus and thanked his many friends and supporters for their prayers since contracting COVID-19.

“It was a scare because she did have it indeed but my wife Angeli is finally free of COVID-19,” he began.

“The Lord took care of us as I never got it even if I was exposed to her on the day the test results came to her. Three people got COVID in our home all at the same time but all are now negative.”

Gary continued, “I really can't thank you enough for all the prayers you sent our way. We love you and may Jesus become real in your lives the way He has become the truth in ours. #healed #thankful #donewithcovid #keepstayingsafe #stayhome.”

It was on March 21 when Angeli announced that she had tested positive for the coronavirus disease.

On Instagram, Angeli posted a counter filled with medicines and essentials, and said, “Guess why I posted this? Here I am isolated because I am Covid positive.”

Despite the results, she remained hopeful citing that this is just “another trial” she needs to overcome with the help of her husband.

“I should be afraid right? But I am married to a man who has had Type1 diabetes for 42 years. Who has had multiple seizures due to hypoglycemia. Hepatitis. Arthroscopic surgery on his knees. Tuberculosis. Cardiac double bypass/ open heart surgery. Kidney cancer. Partial nephrectomy surgery. Whew.

“So having gone through all that with him, I know that this is just another trial that we will overcome together.”

She then ended her note with a reminder to the public.

“Stay home. Wear a mask and a face shield. Wash hands regularly. And even if you are family members, if you go out with 'swabbed' friends, do all these and practice social distancing.”
