Beauty queen and Sparkle artist Gazini Ganados sees her return to the international pageant stage as a calling, entering Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars with a deeper and more personal sense of purpose.
More than a comeback, Gazini's journey represents growth. Once known for her advocacy in elderly care, her mission has grown alongside her life experience, leading her to embrace and amplify her identity as a Filipina-Palestinian woman. This personal truth now fuels her voice and aligns powerfully with the Miss Grand International All Stars' global advocacy: to stop war and violence.
Gazini is the fourth candidate from the Philippines to compete in the inaugural MGI All Stars, set to be held in Thailand starting May 18 to May 30.
“For me, this is no longer just about competition. This is a calling,” Gazini shares.
After meeting her Palestinian father following her Miss Universe journey, Gazini experienced firsthand how conflict and violence affect families, identities, and generations. The emotional toll on her loved ones became a defining moment, transforming her purpose from personal ambition to collective representation. Through MGI All Stars, she aims to humanize the stories behind conflict and use her platform to amplify voices often unheard on the global stage.
As a Filipina raised with compassion, resilience, and community at her core, Gazini brings with her the Filipino spirit of empathy and strength. As a Palestinian by blood, she carries the weight of remembrance and hope. Together, these identities allow her to stand as a representation, uniting cultures through shared humanity rather than division.
Gazini emphasizes that she wants her MGI run to be remembered as a meaningful reign. “This time, I am showing up fully—mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared. I'm not here just to wear a crown. I'm here to stand for something bigger than myself.”
Beyond pageantry, Gazini has also stepped into acting. She has explored the fantasy genre through Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre, where she plays one of the ancient Kambal‑Diwa. While she is open to taking on any genre, Gazini is especially drawn to action‑packed roles, fueled by her love for adrenaline and physically challenging activities.
