Fans and followers remained curious about Gee Canlas's 'REBIRTHday' post, where she mentioned that she's 'choosing to love herself' and revealed that she's already a solo parent.

Gee has a son named Caleb Archer, with her husband Archie Alemania. The celebrity couple the knot in October 2018 at The Monochrome events place in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Unang Hirit got the chance to ask the House of Lies actress about her current relationship status with Archie, but Gee refused to give details.

Instead, she said, "My heart is this [shows her son Caleb Archer]."

She then shared how proud she is of having Caleb in her life.

“It's better, it's healing. I wouldn't say na I'm in the place na sobrang 100 percent, 'Waaaah,' ganun. But, I have a very faithful God, who helps me in my everyday."

She also stressed, "I think naman I'm getting stronger every day.”

Gee also noted that she just needs to be a good solo parent and focus on moving forward with her life.

“I'm a solo parent, yes. And I don't want to say any specifics about the situation. Gusto ko lang move forward na tayo. How do I turn this situation for good, so I can be the best for Caleb for my son. I don't have a big circle, but I do have a trusted circle.”

Aside from caring for her son, Gee is also busy playing Hannah in the GMA Afternoon Prime series House of Lies.

As Hannah, Gee helps the character of Beauty Gonzalez, named Marj, with her struggles.

“I do provide a little relief for Marj, so ang bigat talaga. Siyempre, sa totoong buhay 'pag meron kang mabigat na pinagdadaanan, may tinatakbuhan kang kaibigan.

“So, 'pag ganun, 'you try your best to cheer her up in a way na dinadamayan mo pa rin siya, vina-validate mo pa rin 'yung nararamdaman nung tao.”
