Gehlee Dangca's Filipina pride has remained in her heart even after making her mark on the global stage as a member of UNIS.

In an exclusive interview with GMA Network.com, the young star expressed her appreciation for the Philippines, especially her Filipino fans, as she begins her solo artist journey.

"I want to say, above all, salamat po talaga sa lahat. Thank you so much for supporting me since the very beginning," she said.

"I love the Philippines so much," she added.

Gehlee shared that she wore a Philippine sash during her first performance.

"I love being a representative for the Philippines," she shared.

She also recalled her favorite memory of visiting Manila with her UNIS members for a fan meeting.

"It happened in a shopping mall, and there were so many people like everywhere you looked, there was somebody cheering for us and so, when we reached the waiting room po, we were shaking," she shared, expressing that she was overwhelmed with the love and unwavering support of their fans.

Now a solo artist, Gehlee is set to continue her partnership with Universal Records Philippines as her recording label, alongside GLXY Talent Management and Star Horizon TV Production.

In 2024, she officially debuted as a member of UNIS with the group's extended play (EP), We UNIS. The group officially concluded its activities as a full group on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
