Gelli de Belen and Ariel Rivera tied the knot in 1997 and have two sons, Joaquin and Julio.

Over the years, the couple has been admired for keeping a grounded, loving, and tight-knit family, even while navigating careers in the limelight.

In an October 2024 interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the couple shared their secrets to maintaining a good relationship as a family.

"We are genuinely interested in each other's lives outside our relationship. I do things on my own, she does things on her own para we have something to talk about," Ariel shared.

Gelli added, "We're always together but we still have separate lives."

Ariel and Gelli also agreed that the best compliment they ever received and would like to receive is about them raising two good children.

“If you tell me that my children are good, that's the best thing I could ever get,” Gelli told Tito Boy.

In support of their children's dreams, the couple decided to allow their sons to live in Canada to finish their college there.
