'Little Princess' antagonist Geneva Cruz has found a gem in her mother's baul.

Little Princess star Geneva Cruz took a trip down memory lane as she posted a portrait with Ian Veneracion from almost 32 years ago.

The singer-actress can't help but gush over the star of Joey and Son, the 1982 TV sitcom in which Ian played a boy named Jeffrey Laperal. The character of "Joey" was played by Joey De Leon.

According to the caption, the photo was taken by her mother on October 20, 1990. Clad in a Smokey Mountain shirt, Geneva was only 13 at that time.

She wrote, "Who didn't have a crush on Ian Veneracion when he was on Joey and Son? Wala, everyone had a crush on him ata. I remember asking my angel mama to take our photo considering medyo mahiyain ako ng mga panahon na yan. Hehe! Glad to have found this photo in mama's baul."

In the comments section, Geneva and Ian had a playful exchange of teasing remarks.

"Hala! You guys tagged him! Byeee! I'll hibernate for 30 days," said Geneva after her followers tagged Ian to get his attention.

Fortunately for her, it was a successful mission after her post was noticed by the actor.

Ian quipped, "Wow naman! Shy talaga? Pag nakikita nga kita, di ka namamansin eh! Yeehee!!!"

Geneva then jokingly replied, implying she fainted after her crush noticed her.

Ian starred in the GMA variety show, That's Entertainment, from 1986 to 1996.

The show, created by German Moreno, featured teenagers grouped into five representing the five working days (Monday to Friday) that showcased their talents to the Filipino viewers. The show ran for a decade on television.

Today, a lot of them already have families of their own. Let's take a look at some of these That's Entertainment alumni that do not seem to age even after two decades.
