P-Pop rise! GenZ Live: Cebu featuring P-pop's female alphas G22, Monsters of P-Pop VXON, and New Generation of P-Pop AJAA is finally happening this weekend.

It is happening on July 26 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.

Franz of VXON said in an online media conference held on Friday, July 24, that they, together with G22 and AJAA, remain motivated to uplift the P-Pop scene across a wider audience.

“Isa sa mga gusto naming maalala ng mga audience after ng [GenZ Live: Cebu] is 'yung unity ng bawat group, na kahit iba't iba 'yung branding and iba't iba 'yung styles ng music ng each group, isa lang 'yung goal namin, which is to uplift P-Pop, and at the same time, mas makilala pa 'yung P-Pop ng ibang tao,” he said.

Likewise, Axl of AJAA said, “Ang goal ng P-Pop is iangat ang lahat at i-showcase 'yung talent natin sa buong mundo. So, we're very happy, and we're fortunate enough to be part of GenZ Live, lalo na sa Cebu dahil ang alam namin ay maraming sumusuporta mula sa Cebu, and we are excited to perform there.”

Meanwhile, G22's AJ said the group is looking forward to stepping on the Cebuano stage after a while: “Sobrang nakaka-excite na makita sila (Cebuano fans) ulit and to showcase G22 in this new form— new and evolved, kasi ang tagal na since we last went there.”

Fans may also see the P-Pop groups before the concert for free at the GenZ Live Mallshow on July 26, 2:00 p.m., at SM Seaside City Cebu - City Wing Atrium.
