Eugene Domingo is viral again for the same reason after Netflix teased over the weekend the live-action adaptation of hit '90s Japanese manga series, YuYu Hakusho, popularly known as Ghost Fighter in the Philippines.
The streaming service revealed the main cast and the characters that they will play in the anticipated series, including Takumi Kitamura, who will portray the lead role of Yusuke Urameshi, locally known as Eugene.
Eugene, who is known for his signature spirit energy attack 'Ray Gun' released through his fingertips, is often associated with veteran comedian Eugene Domingo, well, for obvious reasons.
This fueled netizens' creativity to bring the actress into the spotlight.
On Sunday, July 17, artist Ralvin C. Dizon shared on his Facebook account an edited character poster of Yusuke where his face is swapped with Uge.
The post now has 16,000 "laughing" reactions and 19,000 shares as of writing, making it a current viral artwork on social media.
"Heto ang tunay na Live action.. Hehe," Alvin said.
The graphic designer who goes by the name YD Graphics PH even shared a tutorial on how the artwork meme is made.
