Joy Sotto: "Thank you to those who've been praying for my mom!"
The family of Quezon City vice mayor Gian Sotto and his wife Joy Woolbright-Sotto is going through some tough times as the latter revealed that her mother is currently in the hospital.
In her Instagram post, Joy described the past few weeks as “stormy” and asked everyone to pray for her ailing mother.
She shared, “Thank you to those who've been praying for my mom! It's been a stormy couple of weeks but God has been so faithful. We've been trusting HIM each and every day and we've seen victories and miracles.”
Joy continued, “She has improved a lot and is stable, awake and conscious but still needs a lot of prayers. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. To those who are going through something similar, I want to encourage you not to lose hope for we have a God who is greater than all the worries we face. Just Trust, Surrender, Seek Him and Praise Him in the middle of this storm for HE alone can give us all that we need and even more.”
The couple didn't elaborate on the hospitalization of Joy's mom. However, several celebrities already showered their support to them including Marjorie Barretto and band vocalist Chito Miranda, who were all praying for the fast recovery of their mom.

Gian, who appeared in the 'Iskul Bukol' film in 2008, is the only son of Eat Bulaga pioneer Tito Sotto and seasoned actress Helen Gamboa.
He married Joy in 2007 and they already have six kids.
