Gian Sotto on following God's plan: “'A wife and 2 kids lang Lord, ok na 'ko. 'Di ko akalain magiging 6 pala!”
Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, the son of Eat Bulaga pioneer Tito Sotto and seasoned actress Helen Gamboa, took to Instagram to mark the one-month countdown before his wife, Joy Woolbright-Sotto givesbirth to their sixth child.

Gian and Joy are already blessed with five kids: Hugo, Edrigu, Sandro, Rossano, and Amari. In April 2020, the couple announced that they will have a new addition to their big family and Joy is due to give birth sometime in September.
On Instagram, Vice Mayor Gian expressed his excitement for this new chapter in their lives.
He wrote last August 13 that he initially wanted two kids, but God has a different plan for them.
Gian posted, “One month to go at magiging Tatay na naman ulit ako for the 6th time!
“Naalala ko tuloy dati, lagi ko pang sinasabi... “A wife and 2 kids lang Lord, ok nako”. Di ko akalain magiging 6 pala!”
“Then God reminded me, nung single pako... ang lagi ko namang sinasabi “Lord gusto ko mapangasawa yung mukhang Model”, then God gave me a Supermodel! @joywsotto.
“Samakatuwid, God's plan is better and bigger compared to ours. Let's all continue to stand in faith and trust in God! He knows and wants what is best for all of us! #Proverbs3 I love you so much Babe! #Sottogether.”
Gian Sotto and Joy Woolbright married each other in 2007 and they first met when they were students at the University of Asia and the Pacific.
