The GMA Gala 2023 will take place on July 22 and the dazzling attire of the Kapuso stars and other celebrities who will attend the event is expected to be spectacular. Aside from that, modern architecture and art installation-inspired elements will add to the event's elegance.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, international Filipino event stylist Gideon Hermosa briefly shares some of their plans and preparations for the GMA Gala 2023.

“For this year's gala, of course super excited kami because we decided to have modern architecture as the main design and concept for this year's ball,” he shared.

“So for this year's ball, we prepared more of like art installations. You will notice even in other international events most of their designs are more of into art installations,” Gideon continued.

According to the Filipino event designer, they also opted to partner with local artisans from rural areas to create handmade materials for their designs.

“We design 'yung booths, ceiling, 'yung everything like 'yung red carpet based on like modern architectures. But of course, to achieve that, we are actually collaborating with not really artists but we have some artisans from different provinces like I am from Tarlac, 'yung mga nearby provinces, parang we hired local artisans to actually handmade and produced for the props.

“So kung baga ako 'yung main artist, ako 'yung nag-design and all, and 'yung mga local artisans namin will fabricate isa-isa,” he added.

Gideon's remarkable works enable him to stand out from his fellow artists and attract more potential clients locally and abroad. For GMA Gala 2023, Gideon is set to make another spectacular and “Gideonized” event styling.

“Usually kasi when you say 'Gideonized' event it's always different e, kung baga people are seeing different elements, minsan magugulat sila na we are transforming spaces using local materials, or sometimes ordinary materials transformed into something else na parang an art installations,” he proudly said.

The 35-year-old stylist also highlighted the intricate designs that they are creating.

He said, “For this time, 'yung mga area na may design namin, sinukat 'yan, pinag-aralan, pati 'yung testing ng color palette na gagamitin. Of course we are considering 'yung colors na isusuot ng mga artista and all and they have to stand out against our backdrop so those little things 'yun 'yung pinagkakaabalahan namin.”

Gideon also claimed that GMA Gala 2023 will be, “Definitely, I would say this is the best ball na makikita nila so ire-rate ko siya na ten over ten.”

Last year, Gideon also successfully transformed the grand ballroom of Shangri-La The Fort into an aesthetic venue for the first GMA Thanksgiving Gala.

Aside from being a dazzling celebrity event, the GMA Gala 2023 is a fundraising event for the Kapuso Foundation, which will benefit various charitable organizations.
