Kapuso hottie Gil Cuerva may have the appeal of a bad boy, but he can also be a sweetheart. Since the love month has started, he recently revealed his perfect Valentine’s Day date.

“I think for Valentine’s, what’s important is the thought. Based on experience, I can say girls are more after the thought, not really the gifts or material things. Of course they appreciate it, but I think it’s about the thought,” he said.

He shared he would consider what his date’s interests and plan activities they can do together. “I just try to think about what the interests of the girl I’m dating for Valentine’s Day are. Do whatever her favorite activity is; maybe going to the arcade, whatever she enjoys doing…I would do on Valentine’s Day," told Gil.

If he can’t take his date for a fancy dinner date, he also wants to cook for her. “Not all the time you have the budget to take her to her favorite restaurant, tsaka you have to consider din the availability of the restaurant. I’d be fine just settling maybe at my house or her house, but we’ll cook. Two important things: to cook, and make her favorite food, so the thought is there.”

Most of all, what makes Gil endearing is he isn’t shy of looking cheesy and doing sweet gestures for his girl, like making her a scrapbook. “I guess girls appreciate it when you give them a letter or a note, maybe a heartfelt letter. I’d probably make a scrapbook of our favorite memories together. Maybe I’d put polaroids especially if I’ve traveled with this person,” he ended.
