Girls' Generation, commonly known as SNSD, originally debuted in 2007 as a nine-member South Korean girl group. The K-pop hitmakers popularized songs like “Gee,” “Lion Heart,” and “I Got A Boy.”
In 2014, Korean-American member Jessica Jung left the group while the rest continued performing as an eight-piece ensemble. Three other members cut their ties with SM Entertainment in 2017, while the remaining debuted as Girls' Generation - Oh!GG a year after.
In an interview for tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' the eight members hinted at the possibility of making a comeback for their 15th anniversary.
