Comedienne Giselle Sanchez and husband Emil Buencamino celebrated 20 years of togetherness by renewing their vows as husband and wife.

Giselle happily shared the good news yesterday, November 1, along with pictures on her Instagram for friends and fans to see.

In her post, Giselle thanked God for the “sunny weather,” allowing her to realize her dream to experience a garden wedding.

Allow me to share my joy as I renewed my wedding vows with my husband @emilboinks945 after twenty years of blissful marriage. @niceprintphoto captured our love in the beauty of the garden of the #daughtersofsaintanne convent. The sisters led by @happycrisvie transformed the venue to the most beautiful garden wedding area I have ever seen and the plants of @shoplamaisonb added serenity to the place. @randylazaro_ made an eye- catching bouquet I loved so much. I would like to thank God for the sunny weather yesterday that allowed me to have my dream garden wedding. The happy occasion took place on October 31 at the Daughters of St. Anne Convent in Cubao, Quezon City.

Emil also posted on his Instagram, writing the words: "Thank you Lord for blessing us with a beautiful sunny afternoon. Once again, we have pledged in front of You, family, and friends our eternal commitment to one another.”

The couple tied the knot in 2000 and is blessed with two children, Lia and Xavier.

Giselle and Emil's love story was featured in the GMA-7 program, Wagas, in September 2013. Portraying the lead characters of Giselle and Emil were Pauleen Luna and Marco Alcaraz.
