Gladys Gueverra did not miss the opportunity to have a photo taken with Filipino sports legends at the opening ceremony of 30th SEA Games last night, November 30, at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
The Sunday PinaSaya was very lucky to meet the eight Filipino sporting legends who carried the SEA Games flags during the event.
The group included Asian sprint queen Lydia de Vega, multiple billiards world champion Efren "Bata" Reyes, world bowling Hall of Famers Olivia "Bong" Coo and Rafael "Paeng" Nepomuceno, 1996 Olympic silver medalist boxer Mansueto "Onyok" Velasco, Asian Games basketball silver medalist Alvin Patrimonio, and multiple SEA Games gold-medal winners Eric Buhain and Akiko Thomson.
On her Instagram post, Gladys couldn't contain her excitement about seeing these champs backstage.
“Aaaaay! This is something na ka-FLEX FLEX talaga,” she said.
“Pagpasok nila, ang hirap magpa picture dahil di sila magkaka dikit at lahat nagpapa picture.
“Bilang fan girl ako at lahat sila ay karapat dapat ipagyabang sa buong mundo.
