Primera Kontrabida Gladys Reyes is looking forward to reuniting with former co-star Claudine Barretto. According to the actress, it has been 20 years since they last worked together.

In an Instagram post, Gladys posted a series of pictures with Claudine, saying it has taken “2 long decades” since they last worked together.

“After 20 years or 2 long decades, finally got to reunite and was able to work together again with @claubarretto,” she said.

They will be starring in a four-part episode special of Tadhana with co-stars Katrina Halili and promising young actress Sofia Pablo.

Tadhana is a weekly drama anthology on inspiring stories about OFWs and is hosted by Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera. Stories can go from colorful and romantic to heroic and inspiring as OFWs featured in the stories show their struggles living abroad and being separated from their families.

Both renowned actresses will appear in the episode “Hanggang Kailan.” It is considered the most significant episode of the drama anthology series which will air on September 10, Saturday.

They last worked together in Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan, a story that transcends time, where she played Ruella Agbayani, while Claudine played two characters: Angelina, a character from the past, and Angeline Montenegro-Crisostomo from the present in 2003. This would be their last project together.

Before that, they also worked together in Saan ka man Naroroon, where Gladys played Melissa Baldamesa-Ocampo. Meanwhile, Claudine played three characters: Rosario, Rosenda, and Rosita B. Ocampo in 2001.

In a separate post, Gladys showed off pictures of them together with their male co-stars Allen Dizon and Marco Alcaraz.
