Gladys Reyes shares the secrets to making your marriage work.
Veteran actors Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas have been a couple for 26 years.
After two marriages and four children, their love never ceased and, as a matter of fact, is getting stronger than ever.

On the thanksgiving party of Gladys's show TODA One I Love, she revealed the secret behind their long and successful relationship.
“Prayers, patience and then partnership,” she said quickly.
“Prayers kasama na doon yung faith kasi malaking factor na we have the same faith. We are both Iglesia ni Cristo.”
It was in 1997 when Christopher converted from Catholicism to Iglesia ni Cristo to be with her then-girlfriend Gladys.
“He has converted pero natutuwa ako na kahit convert siya, talagang yung faith niya very evident. Hindi lang dahil sa akin kaya siya nag-covert, ika nga.”
The second secret of their marriage is patience--tons of it.
“Tons of patience ang kailangan namin to be able to surpass all the challenges sa relationship,” she said.
Lastly, the most important secret is partnership.
“Partnership kasi dapat siya yung nagpi-fill nung blanks mo 'di ba?” Gladys asked.
“Hindi puwedeng akin yung credit na kaya nagiging successful yung relationship dahil sa babae, yung iba naman sasabihin nila, 'Ay! Kasi yung lalaki mas mature kaya successful yung relationship.'
“Hindi. Masyadong cliché pero it takes two to tango. Partnership talaga ang isang relationship. Hindi lang isang tao yung nagwowork para maging successful.”
Being a couple for 26 years means challenges have already come their way but they didn't let those setbacks break them.
They are staying true to their word that their relationship is indeed a partnership.
“Nakakatuwa si Christopher kasi hindi mataas yung pride niya pagdating sa akin,” she said proudly.
“Sobrang kilala na niya ako, alam na alam na niya kung paano niya ako susuyuin, kung paano maaayos.
“Ako naman, hindi naman ako mahirap suyuin. Alam ko naman kasi malaking bagay na yung lalaki na pinapakita niya sa 'yo kung gaano ka niya kamahal at kung gaano niya ibinababa yung pride niya just to win you back.”
