After her taping for GMA Afternoon Prime's upcoming series The Seed of Love, versatile Kapuso actress Glaiza de Castro went straight to Baler, Aurora just in time for the opening of her business with husband David Rainey.
On Instagram, Glaiza shared some photos and snippets from the opening day of their café/bed and breakfast.
"Went straight to Baler after taping for @brewboxbaler's opening last Friday (it's just a five-hour roadtrip from Manila! Besides, we get stuck in city traffic for five hours or more anyways)," she wrote in the caption.
"Seeing everyone there together (tourists, locals, family and friends) made all our efforts worth it. Couldn't be more proud of @david_rainey80 for starting something great in Ireland and seeing him expand here in the Philippines with me is a dream come true.
"Those small steps really make big wonderful changes. Again, thank you to everyone who supported us on our first day, it means a lot.
"'Til our next coffee!"
In 2018, Glaiza bought a house in the surf town of Baler when she was doing the high-rated GMA Afternoon Prime series Contessa.
"Wala akong kakilala sa Baler pero no'ng time kasi na ginagawa ko 'yung 'Contessa,' 'yun 'yung time na napapadalas na 'ko mag-beach tapos nag-start na 'ko mag-surf," she said in her Kapuso Profiles.
During the quarantine, Glaiza stayed in Baler for much of the time.
