Upcoming Kapuso Afternoon Prime series Contessa takes part in this year’s celebration of Araw ng Tagum on Wednesday (March 7).

Heading to Davao is Contessa herself, multi-talented Kapuso actress Glaiza De Castro. Joining Glaiza is her leading man Jak Roberto.  Together they will treat their fans to a Kapuso Mall Show in Gaisano Mall of Tagum at 3 p.m.

In the series, Glaiza’s character will be seeking justice after she is accused and imprisoned for a crime she did not commit. The drama series begins airing on March 19 after Eat Bulaga. This is the return of Glaiza in a teleserye after her successful portrayal of Pirena in the hit telefantasya series Encantadia.

“We are excited to bring our newest Afternoon Prime offering Contessa in Davao to celebrate the Araw ng Tagum with our Kapusong Tagumeños. We hope they would enjoy the treat Glaiza and Jak have in store for them,” said GMA Regional TV Department Vice President and Head Oliver Amoroso. “This year, our loyal Kapuso viewers can be assured that GMA Network will bring them quality programs and entertaining mall shows. All of these, of course, are our way for giving thanks to the viewers for their support,” he added.

The Araw ng Tagum commemorates the founding anniversary of Tagum as a city.
