Fans continue to feel the enchanting vibes from Glaiza de Castro's rendition of Encantadia's theme song, “Tadhana.”

The Sang'gre actress recently performed a live cover of the iconic piece alongside its original singer, Bayang Barrios.

The video sent chills as Glaiza infused the performance with her lyrics and melody, originally featured in her transformation challenge clips.

In an interview with Nelson Canlas, Glaiza recalled the magical moment of collaborating with Ms. Bayang. She shared her surprise upon seeing the ethnic setup, which included kulintang and chimes.

What truly left her in awe, however, was learning the deeper meaning behind the legendary theme song.

"[From] 2005, 2016, ang naririnig lang natin lagi [ay 'yung chant]. 'Tapos, ine-explain siya sa akin, ni Ms. Bayang, kung ano 'yung story behind it. Para siyang ano, kalikasan na nasira. Iyon 'yung description sa kanya ng composer. Nagcha-chant lang talaga siya, freestyle lang talaga siya," Glaiza explained.

Glaiza felt honored to contribute to the legacy of “Tadhana” by weaving her message, which resonates with the new journey of Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.

"Ako naman, bilang nasira 'yung kalikasan, gusto ko pa rin lumaban," she expressed.

In her Instagram post, Glaiza shared that Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre inspired her new take on the song. She offered the song as a tribute to the show's enduring legacy and to everyone who has shown love to the franchise over the years.

"Ito ay para sa mga musikerong nagbibigay kulay sa mga eksena; sa mga naging bahagi at nagmahal sa Encantadia; sa mga bagong sumusuporta. Ivo Live!" she mentioned.
