The music and lyrics of "Pag-ikot" is composed by 'Nagbabagang Luha' lead female star Glaiza De Castro herself.

Glaiza De Castro debuted her newly self-penned song titled "Pag-ikot" on her Instagram account on Wednesday, August 25.

The talented Kapuso star performed the single, a sentimental ballad, while playing the acoustic guitar.

"Pag-ikot's" poignant nature complements its lyrics about finding hope amid the sad realities of life and, not to mention, Glaiza's laidback and euphonious vocal style brings a sense of calmness into it.

Prior to "Pag-Ikot," Glaiza has been composing original songs for the past years. Among them is "Ode to the New Heroes," which she brought to life in collaboration with her now-fiancé David Rainey.

The song, written during the enhanced community quarantine last 2020, is dedicated to COVID-19 frontliners.

Meanwhile, Glaiza's latest single "Bank Holiday'' is also an original song by the actress released on February 12, 2021 as her debut single under O/C Records, Chynna Ortaleza and Kean Cipriano's record label.

The track was made back in 2019 as a part of the music production course she was taking in England during that time. It is a song about her observations of people sunbathing at parks during the said bank holidays that happen in the United Kingdom, where the banks are closed and people enjoy the day off for recreational and leisurely activities.

Currently, Glaiza is part of the GMA afternoon drama series Nagbabagang Luha which she topbills with Rayver Cruz.

She plays the role of seasoned actress Lorna Tolentino, namely Maita, in the GMA adaptation of the 1988 blockbuster movie titled 'Nagbabagang Luha' based on the comic novel of Elena Patron.
