Just like her character Pirena's command over fire in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre, Glaiza De Castro amazed and surprised everyone with her latest hair transformation.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, January 25, Glaiza shared several photos of her new haircut, officially bidding goodbye to her iconic red hair and returning to jet black with a chic pixie-bob cut.

From 2024 to 2025, Glaiza showcased a fiery red bob, which she revealed was the new look for her character Pirena in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.

Many fans loved this look, noting that she channeled "Dua Lipa vibes." Even Glaiza's husband David Rainey couldn't hide his admiration for the red hair at the time, playfully calling her "My Dua Lipa."

Now in 2026, Glaiza shared her new look in a post where she looks both elegant and fierce, sporting a white crop top, a black blazer, and denim jeans with the caption: “Been wanting to do this.”

Fellow stars immediately flocked to Glaiza's post to share their reactions to the actress's fresh look.

Among those who commented were her Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre co-stars Gabbi Garcia and Kate Valdez. Her Stars On The Floor celebrity partner, JM Yrreverre, also shared his reaction, along with popular content creator and host AC Soriano.

“YESSS HOTTIE,” Gabbi wrote in the comments.

“ANGGAAASSSSS,” Kate commented.

“OH MY GODDD. GORGGGGGG,” expressed JM.

“ANG GANDAAAAA,” AC wrote.

Meanwhile, fans couldn't help but pour out their positive reactions regarding Glaiza's new haircut.
