Glaiza De Castro on her fellow Runners: 'May mga character development na'

Sparkle actress Glaiza De Castro was beaming during her online interview with the entertainment press yesterday, February 12, as she talked about Season 2 of the much-awaited reality show Running Man Philippines which was being shot in South Korea.

Joining her in this winter edition are Mikael Daez, Buboy Villar, Lexi Gonzales, Kokoy de Santos, Angel Guardian, and the newest member Miguel Tanfelix.

In her chat with GMANetwork.com, Glaiza hinted that fans should expect a lot of surprises on how the other Runners competed this season.

She explained, “Basta makikita n'yo na rin 'yan kapag pinanood n'yo. I would say, lahat din kami [mga baon].

“Nagtutuksuhan nga kami kasi may mga character development na, siyempre halos isang taon na rin nakalipas, after Season 1. So, nag-improve.”

Glaiza continued, “May characteristics pa rin na nandoon na minahal din ng tao. So kayo na lang din mag-define kung ano 'yung mga characteristics na 'yun, at kung sino this season 'yung mangugulat.”

Also referred to as Boss G by her castmates, the versatile actress admitted that it is normal for Runners to have disagreements sometimes since everybody is so competitive.

But she stressed to the media that they never forget that they are always there to support each other no matter what.

“Hindi siguro mag-e-evolve 'yung friendship or 'yung relationship kung walang disagreements. So, of course may mga times na parang may pitik nang konti. Ako, I would say na may mga times na naiinis ako,” Glaiza noted.

“Pero siguro 'yun 'yung competitive side ko, lumalabas siya. In any game, 'di ba kahit 'yung mga athletes kapag nakikita natin natatalo, nalulungkot sila.”

“Siguro 'yun 'yung frustration na 'Ay! Bakit hindi ko magawa 'to?'"

“May mga ganun, pero it's not a thing na parang to hate on someone. Kasi we all understand naman na nandito kami to help each other out and to support each other.”
