Gloc-9 has just released a 10-track album titled 'SARI-SARI STORY' with carrier single, "Tinda ni Linda."
Filipino rap icon Gloc-9 is back with new music as he launched his highly-anticipated full-length album, SARI-SARI STORY, on Friday, June 21.
Produced by Raymund Marasigan, SARI-SARI STORY features different stories that people can relate to, which Gloc-9 wrote himself.
"Ang inspiration ko sa album ay 'yung parang title na rin," Gloc-9 said. "Pinilit namin ni Kuya [Raymund] na ma-identify na 'yung title ng album. Pero I think mayroon na tayong dalawang kanta na nagawa nu'n 'Utang Clan' at Gatas at Asukal.'
"Na-identify namin 'yung title na naging mas madali for me to write songs under the umbrella of the 'SARI-SARI STORY,' na mas mag-isip ng iba't ibang kuwento pero mas may uniformity na 'yung pagpili namin ng topic."
The album consists of 10 tracks, including "Panulat Mo," "Gatas at Asukal," "Utang Clan," "Puyat," "Sagip," "Tinda Ni Linda," "Tatlong Taon," "Alimpungatan," "Yakap," at "IDOL."
According to Gloc-9, he and Raymund worked on the album for six weeks before flying to Australia for a tour.
SARI-SARI STORY is now available for streaming on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube Music, and other digital music platforms worldwide.
