Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz sees nothing wrong about tranwomen joining Miss Universe, "Gusto ko nga 'yun, e."

Sabi niya, "Well, I have nothing against that, gusto ko nga 'yun, e.

“It's more competition kasi [it doesn't] mean naman na you cannot be beautiful because you're transgender, di ba?

“But I don't know how it will affect the competition itself because usually [kapag] beauty contest babae parang reyna."

"I've been a judge in transgender [beauty competition], ang gaganda talaga even 'yung mga [Super Sireyna contestants]. Even sa malalapit ang gaganda nila." saad niya.
