With the GMA News YouTube channel getting 10M subscribers, GMA now becomes the only Philippine network with three YouTube Diamond Play Buttons.
It's yet another milestone for GMA!
A little over an hour ago, the YouTube channel for GMA News passed the 10 million subscribers mark, making it eligible for YouTube's Diamond Play Button. This makes GMA the first and only network in the Philippines to have three YouTube Diamond Play Buttons.
As of this writing, the GMA News YouTube channel has more than 8 billion views. Videos hosted on the channel include clips from Unang Hirit, Saksi, and 24 Oras. The channel also hosts livestreams for “24 Oras” and GMA News Online.
Its top video is a clip from Karelasyon, which has 36 million views. Coming in second and third are two clips from 24 Oras, with 13 million and 12 million views, respectively.
The network got its first Diamond Play Button back in 2019 after the GMA Entertainment YouTube channel passed the 10 million subscribers mark.
The network got its second Diamond Play Button last year when GMA Public Affairs YouTube channel also crossed the 10 million subscribers mark.
