GMA's Sparkle was quick to offer the Blackman family a management deal days after the viral Australia-based content creator uploaded a video of Jette showing off her acting skills before saying "GMA, beke nemen."

GMA's Sparkle officially introduced to the public their newest talents, the Australia-based content creator, The Blackman Family.

The viral family, consisting of Filipino mother Jeraldine, Australian father Joshua, and their kids Nimo and Jette, inked a deal with the talent management arm of GMA on Tuesday, October 8, in a contract signing event held at GMA Network Center building.

"Sobrang grateful kasi we are now part of the Kapuso family. It was just my dream no'ng bata ako, nanonood tayo ng TV, 'di ba? Tapos andito na kami and 'yung plus pa with my whole family. Very nakaka-excite and very nakaka-touch," Jeraldine said in an interview with GMANetwork.com.

Jeraldine also said she and her husband didn't think twice after Sparke contacted them to offer a management deal.

She added, "Kapag naririnig mo na 'yung GMA, who would say 'no,' 'di ba? Kaya no'ng nag-offer sila ng contract, agad-agad I talked to Josh, sabi n'ya, 'yes do it.'"

The negotiation happened in just a span of weeks, beginning when Jeraldine filmed her four-year-old daughter, Jette, showing off her acting skills and uploaded it last September 14 on TikTok where they have around 3.1 million followers.

In the said video, Jette sheds tears as her new talent. She also teased GMA and two other local networks, alluding them to get her for an acting project, hence the "beke nemen" ("baka naman") slang phrase.

Jeraldine shared, "This was like a few weeks ago, sa bahay maka-K-drama kasi ako, maraming iyak-iyak d'yan so, one day, nakita ako ni Jette na umiiyak. Sabi ni Jette, 'Mama, I can do that one too, it's very easy.' Tapos umupo na s'ya, sabi n'ya, 'look mama, I'm crying now' tapos inuulit-ulit n'ya. Kaya ngayon sa bahay, lagi namin sinasabi, 'Jette, can you show us your talent?' Gano'n kami, tapos iiyak na 'yan. So finilm ko s'ya a few weeks ago, sabi n'ya, 'Mama, film me...tapos at the end of the video, sabi n'ya, 'GMA, beke nemen.'"

Jeraldine noted how prompt Sparkle was with their intention to have them as their contract artists.

She went on, "Tapos a few days later, ayan na ang message ng GMA. That fast, that fast din ang sign."

The Blackman family is set to appear in some GMA shows as guests.

As of now, they don't have plans to settle down in the Philippines as they will fly back to Australia for Nimo and Jette's education.

Regardless, Jeraldine expressed her desire to go back to the country during her kids' school holidays which happen four times a year.
