adobo Video Fest finalists

GMA Network has four entries competing in the entertainment music video, and variety categories

Four videos from GMA Network -- a music video, a “relationship reveal,” and stories of real Filipinos - are competing in the adobo Video Fest, an award show that seeks to recognize original and creative Filipino content on Facebook Watch.

Two of the videos competing are “First Yaya: Relationship Reveal” for the Entertainment - Drama category and “GMA Christmas Station ID 2021: Love Together, Hope Together” for the Music Video category.

“First Yaya: Relationship Reveal” is a three minute and 30 second video of one of the highlights from the Sanya Lopez-led serye First Yaya. In the video, yaya Melody Reyes (Sanya) reveals to her family that she is in a relationship with the president of the Philippines, Glenn Acosta (Gabby Concepcion). The clip soon takes a comedic turn as it turns out that Melody's siblings have been taking bets.

Meanwhile, the network's Christmas Station ID, “Love Together, Hope Together,” is one of two competing in the Music Video category for publishers. The Christmas Station ID, which features several prominent Kapuso personalities like actors and actresses Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, and Bea Alonzo, has already reached 3.3 million views on Facebook as of this writing.

Also competing in the Entertainment - Variety category and the Community Engagement & Views award are two videos taken from emotional highlights from Wowowin. The first one tells the story of a 16-year-old mother who finds compassion from a 62-year-old, while the second one features the story of an 11-year-old boy fighting leukemia. The videos have 27 million and 18 million views, respectively. The Christmas Station ID “Love Together, Hope Together” is also up for the Community Engagement & Views award.
