Excitement is building as final preparations are now in full swing for the highly anticipated GMA Gala 2025!

According to Nelson Canlas' report on 24 Oras on Friday, award-winning events designer Gideon Hermosa has taken charge of the event's overall aesthetic, crafting a stunning venue and red carpet design. The look will feature a palette of earth tones and silver, creating a striking contrast to the gala's main theme of dark hues.

Visual storytelling will be a standout element this year, with top-tier directors at the helm. Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre is the overall visual director Rico Gutierrez and overseeing the red carpet special, while Paolo Valenciano, director of Stars on the Floor, is handling the grand ballroom program.

The event will also serve as the first public screening of GMA Network's special 75th-anniversary station ID, an emotional and historic moment for the Kapuso community.

A musical feast awaits attendees as the program will feature powerful performances from none other than the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and the world-renowned Madrigal Singers.

“We promise that it will be an elevated gala. Kakaiba 'yung ipapakita nating mga presentations during the gala, and since this is the 75th year, nagle-level up tayo for this very, very important celebration,” said GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.

More than 1,000 guests, including GMA executives, celebrities, partners, and VIPs--are expected to attend the glamorous evening, which will take place on Saturday, August 2, at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.

Now in its fourth year, the GMA Gala continues to be more than just a star-studded spectacle. It is a fundraising event in support of the GMA Kapuso Foundation, bringing together the network's brightest stars and closest allies for a night of charity, unity, and gratitude.

Ahead of the big night, a GMA Gala 2025 Partners' Night was held in late July as a pre-celebration. During the pre-GMA Gala dinner on July 24 at the elegant Hotel Okura Manila, GMA Network donated a generous PhP2.5 million to the Kapuso Foundation.

The evening was made even more meaningful as Kapuso stars, sponsors, and partners gathered not only in glamour and style but also in heartfelt appreciation and purpose. The donation will help fund relief efforts for those affected by recent typhoons and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

The pre-gala celebration was a heartfelt reminder of what the GMA Gala is truly about: compassion, connection, and the enduring spirit of bayanihan. Funds raised from both the pre-gala and the main event will go directly to supporting the foundation's ongoing relief operations.

For the RED CARPET LIVESTREAM on Saturday, the event will go live at exactly 5:30 p.m.
