Kapuso actors Alden Richards and Ken Chan led last night's Village Pipol Choice Awards 2019 as each took home a prestigious award in their respective categories.
Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards emerged as a big winner after he bagged Movie Actor of the Year for his movie, Hello, Love Goodbye beating his fellow The Gift actor Martin del Rosario.
Meanwhile, Ken Chan took home the coveted TV Actor of the Year award for his portrayal of Bobet in the GMA Afternoon Prime soap My Special Tatay.
GMA Network also rose as the night's big winner when the station was announced as the TV Station of the Year.
Special awards were also given at the glamorous event, such as the Marqed Look of the Night given to Ashley Ortega and Mr. and Ms. Fitspiration of the Pipol Award awarded to Ken Chan and Angela Alarcon.
Village Pipol is the first free travel, lifestyle, entertainment, technology magazine in the country.
Several Kapuso stars have already been featured on the cover of the magazine such as Kris Bernal, Carmina Villarroel, Rocco Nacino, and Julie Anne San Jose.
