This September, three of the country's biggest networks will pay homage to the King of Comedy via "Dolphy Alay Tawa:  A    Musical Tribute to the King of Comedy" which will happen on September 19, 2012 (7PM) at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.



This September, three of the country's biggest networks will pay homage to the King of Comedy via "Dolphy Alay Tawa:  A    Musical Tribute to the King of Comedy" which will happen on September 19, 2012 (7PM) at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
 
Making the momentous occasion grander is the rare gathering of some of the country's biggest stars from three different networks to   express their appreciation and love for the late Comedy King.
 
Led by the Quizon children Dolphy Jr., Edgar, Eric, Jeffrey, Rolly,Ronnie, Sally, Vandolph, Zia and with Dolphy's life partner Ms. Zsa Zsa Padilla. Alay Tawa will unite the country's well celebrated performers in the local music scene and Philippine movies.

Some of the artists who will appear at the two-and-a-half hour tribute are Ai-Ai delas Alas, Alex Gonzaga, Aljur Abrenica, Angeline Quinto, Arci Muñoz, Christopher de Leon, Daniel Matsunaga, Danita Paner, Dennis Trillo, Derek Ramsay, Edgar Allan Guzman, Edu Manzano, Enzo Pineda, Eula Caballero, Gary Valenciano, Gerald Anderson, Goin Bulilit kids, Heart Evangelista, Iya Villania, Janno Gibbs, JC de Vera, Jericho Rosales, Jhong Hilario, Joey de Leon, John Estrada, Jolina Magdangal, Judy Ann Santos, Kempee de Leon, Lorna Tolentino, Luis Manzano, Marian Rivera, Maricel Soriano, Mark Herras, Martin Escudero, Martin Nievera, Melai, Michael V., Nikki Gil, Nora Aunor, Ogie Alcasid, Paolo Bediones, Pauleen Luna, Rachelle Ann Go, Raymond Gutierrez, Ritz Azul, Rocco Nacino, Roderick Paulate, Ruby Rodriguez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Ryan Agoncillo, Shaina Magdayao, Sharon Cuneta, Vhong Navarro, Vic Sotto, Vilma Santos, Wendell Ramos and Wynwyn Marquez.
 
With the special participation of Daisy Romualdez, Eddie Garcia,Eddie Gutierrez, German Moreno, Gloria Romero, Nova Villa, Rosa Rosal, and Susan Roces.
 
Directed by Al Quinn with Bibeth Orteza, who wrote Dolphy's biography "Hindi Ko Ito Narating Mag-isa", as the show's scriptwriter.
 
The collaboration aims to continue the noble advocacies of Dolphy. A minimum donation of 150 pesos is equivalent to one General Admission ticket, 250 pesos for the upper box ticket and 450 pesos for the lower box ticket.
