The GMA Network received a total of nine awards from the Catholic Mass Media Awards
The Kapuso Network had a terrific night at the Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) as its programs, coverage, and report received recognition from the award-giving body.
The CMMA winners from the Kapuso Network include GMA Regional TV's One Mindanao, which received a special citation for Best News Program; Kapuso mo, Jessica Soho for Best Public Service Program; Agripenuer for Best Adult Educational / Cultural Program; and The Voice Generations for Best Entertainment Program. Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law was named Best Drama Series / Program, while Magpakailanman was given a special citation for Best Drama Series / Program.

Meanwhile, DZBB Super Serbisyo, Trabaho at Negosyo, Super Radyo DZBB 594 KHZ was named as Best Business News. GMA News Online was also awarded Best News Cover for Llanesca Panti and Hana Bordey's “A Constitution named Freedom: The interim Charter under Cory Aquino” and Best Investigative Report for Marco Romas' “Wombs for Rent”.
The Catholic Mass Media Awards were first established in 1978 by the late Jaime L. Cardinal Sin and recognizes entries from radio, press, advertising, television or film that shapes the perspectives and character of society.
