In an effort to continue bringing its viewers topnotch programs, GMA Network partnered with the International Academy of Film and Television for a production design workshop.

The workshop, "Creating Value Through Productions Design" was held today, May 9 at the Executive Lounge of the GMA Network Center. Selected members of GMA's production team attended the workshop like production designers and art directors of GMA's Entertainment TV Group as well as some members of its Visual Applications Unit.

It was conducted by Sean Akers, the Senior Vice President and one of the mentors at IAFT Cebu. This was also the first workshop from IAFT Cebu that was held outside the Queen City of the South.

The workshop covered color theory, lighting, set dressing, color correction, and color design for post production. It also touched on designing for mood, intention, theme and composition.
