Another landmark deal has been sealed as GMA Pictures officially partners with Mentorque Inc.
On August 28, a contract signing was held at the GMA Network Center for their upcoming first collaboration movie, Huwag Kang Titingin.
In attendance were executives: Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, GMA Public Affairs First Vice President and GMA Pictures Executive Vice President, Nessa Valdellon, and Mentorque Inc. CEO John Bryan Diamante.
Sparkle Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia was also present during the contract signing.
"I'm very very excited for this project. We have a great story, an exciting cast, and a very strong partner in Mentorque. So I think that it's our honor to be a partner of Mentorque. This is our first venture together," Ms. Annette said.
To mark their first collaboration, John Bryan also presented a memorable gift to the Kapuso Network. Revealed in a box was the film Mallari's original iconic statue.
"For Mentorque po, this partnership is both humbling and inspiring. It reminds us that Philippine cinema is not just about kung sinong pinakamatagal dito kundi kung sino pwede magsama-sama for a really good film," John Bryan shared.
Meanwhile, some of the film's star-studded cast also graced the event, including Sofia Pablo, Allen Ansay, Michael Sager, Marco Masa, Sean Lucas, Josh Ford, Anthony Constantino, and Sherilyn Reyes.
Huwag Kang Titingin promises to deliver a chilling Filipino horror experience for the teens and young generations. The film will be helmed by director Frasco Mortiz with a screenplay written by Ays De Guzman.
Mentorque Inc., the studio behind notable films such as Mallari and Uninvited, continues to strengthen its reputation in the industry. The production house recently bagged the Film Producer of the Year Award at the 2025 Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards.
