XG announces new album

XG's Maya promised their fans: "We promise, we'll be back again!"

ALPHAZ had the time of their lives partying with their favorite X-pop group Xtraordinary Girls (XG) last Friday, August 2, during "THE FIRST HOWL" concert at the Araneta Coliseum.

Dressed in their best OOTDs, fans created an unforgettable night, singing along, cheering, and dancing with XG members Jurin, Chisa, Cocona, Hinata, Maya, Juria, and Harvey.

The energy in the coliseum was palpable as the girls kicked off the night with their electrifying performances.

"Wow! The energy you guys give every time we sing here is incredible," XG's Harvey exclaimed, visibly moved by the enthusiastic crowd.

In a heartfelt display of fan appreciation, ALPHAZ surprised the group with special banners and took the opportunity to teach them some Tagalog words and phrases. The girls were eager learners, quickly picking up "mahal namin kayo" (we love you), "maganda kayo" (you're beautiful), and "magaling" (excellent), which they adorably used throughout the night to connect with their Filipino fans.

"ALPHAZ, maganda [kayo]," they cutely praised.

The fun didn't stop there as fans also introduced XG to the iconic "Eeey" hand sign, which the girls found irresistibly fun and adopted with enthusiasm.

"Best teacher goes to ALPHAZ. Thank you," Maya said.

As the concert progressed, the mutual admiration between XG and their fans was undeniable. The group's energetic performances and the fans' spirited participation created an electric atmosphere.

"You guys are seriously the best!" XG said.

"We promise, we'll be back again!" Maya promised.

The night took an exciting turn when XG surprised their fans with an announcement of a new album. "By the way, we have something new. We're going to release a second (mini) album. You guys look forward to it," Jurin excitedly announced.

This upcoming release will be XG's second mini-album, following their successful first one, New DNA. The new album, which includes their recent hit "Something Ain't Right," is set to drop on November 8, 2024. More tracks will be revealed closer to the release date, with pre-orders now available in Japan and South Korea.
