Gong Yoo The Long Take Asia fan meeting tour


K-drama actor Gong Yoo is set to meet Filipino fans soon!

Another "oppa" is coming to town as South Korean actor Gong Yoo prepares to visit the Philippines.

On Instagram, talent agency Management SOOP officially announced the K-drama star's upcoming Asia fan meeting tour, The Long Take.

Included in the list of stops are Jakarta, Yokohama, Bangkok, Macau, Seoul, and, of course, Manila!

"The journey begins," the agency captioned the post.

Adding a personal touch to the announcement, the post also featured a handwritten message from Gong Yoo.

The actor expressed his gratitude for the love and support fans continue to show him, especially on his birthday each year. With the upcoming fan meeting, The Goblin star expressed his excitement for the event, a place where they can fill it with love and support.

Gong Yoo is one of the Philippines' most beloved K-drama stars. He is best known for playing Kim Shin in the hit fantasy drama Goblin: The Lonely and Great God, which aired locally on GMA's Heart of Asia.

Recently, the actor reunited with his Goblin co-stars Yoo In-na, Kim Go-eun, and Lee Dong-wook to celebrate the drama's 10th anniversary.

Aside from Goblin, Gong Yoo has starred in popular series such as Coffee Prince, The Silent Sea, and the global hit Squid Game. He also headlined the famous 2016 zombie film Train to Busan.
