
K-drama actors Gong Yoo, Bae Doona, and Lee Joon are prepping for a new Netflix sci-fi mystery thriller “The Silent Sea.”
Announced on Tuesday, September 8, “The Silent Sea” is set in the distant future when the planet Earth is completely deserted.
The star-studded cast is set to portray the Special Forces team sent to an abandoned research facility on the moon.

Gong Yoo, known for Train to Busan, will play Han Yun-jae, the exploration team leader who places the safety of his team above all else.
Kingdom's Bae Doona will play the role of Doctor Song Ji-an. Her role is to unearth a mystery at the abandoned research station on the moon.
Lee Joon will play Captain Ryu Tae-sook, a senior engineer and a former elite member of the Defense Ministry. Held back from the military, he volunteered for the dangerous mission without knowing what he will get in to.
Acting as the executive producer of the film is Korean actor Jung Woo-sung.
Choi Hang-yong will serve as the film's director.
