Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun-jin will soon be starring in a new drama!
Korean stars Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun-jin are reportedly starring in a new drama with the working title Trunk.
TV Daily reported on February 20 that the two Korean celebrities are possibly headlining the Netflix original together.
A source from their agency Management SOOP confirmed the news and stated, "Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun-jin have received offers to star in 'Trunk,' and they are positively reviewing their offers.”
Trunk is based on a novel of the same title. It tells the story of a fictional marriage service agency that sets up married life with the client's ideal partner. The project will be helmed by producer and director Kim Gyu-tae of Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, It's Okay, That's Love, and written by scriptwriter Park Eun-young of Hwarang.
Gong Yoo is in talks to play music producer Han Jung Won who believes all marriages are deceit, while Seo Hyun-jin is reportedly playing deputy head Noh In-ji who ironically wants to stay single though her career revolves around marriage.
