IU's Palette is taking over the Korean entertainment industry as IU constantly surprises fans with unexpected guests. On its latest episode, the guest is no other than famous actor Gong Yoo!

During the 40-minute video, Gong Yoo revealed that he is a long-time fan of IU and listens to two of her albums often.

“Of your albums, the two on my playlist that I listen to the most are 'Palette' and 'A Flower Bookmark.' I listen to those albums the most.”

The actor even proved his knowledge and shared how he liked the album.

“'A Flower Bookmark' consists of classic songs, right? Those are some songs that many people at your age may not know but after you did a remake of those songs, you made them become famous again. I really liked that you did that.”

IU was even more surprised when Gong Yoo revealed to have listened to her new album 'LILAC' as it was just released recently. She then asked, “Which is your favorite song?”

Though he wasn't sure yet of his favorite song from the album, he shared, “'Hi Spring Bye.' I didn't know the backstory to 'Hi Spring Bye' at first, but while I was listening to it, it sounded familiar. The vibe and the melody...

“Also 'Coin,' the rap part. The song called 'Epilogue.' Over all, I loved the lyrics. I tend to read all the lyrics. Also, even if a song feels unfamiliar at first, if I like the lyrics, I come to like the song as well. The song like 'Ah Puh' is so cute.”

Following the actor's answer, IU couldn't help but be stunned, “This is so cool how Gong Yoo [sunbaenim] is talking about my new songs... You are making us super excited right now.”

As the show continues, the two look forward to getting a chance to work together in a drama or movie in the future.
