Bambam

Now the question is, when can we hear a Bambam and Ronnie Liang collab?

Filipino Ahgases did not expect anything less from fan service king Bambam as he recently belted out a line from Ronnie Liang's single “Ngiti” in the group's recently concluded VLive last Saturday, December 12.

In the almost 1-hour live stream, GOT7 members JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam, and Yugyeom interacted with fans to share what they've been up to after the promotional period of their last album, “Breath of Love: Last Piece.”

During the session, singer Youngjae said, “N-G-I-T-I? What is that? It says here, 'Bambam please sing n-g-i-t-i.'”

“Ahhh, 'Ngiti!' How does it go again?” remarked Thai native and rapper Bambam before belting out a few lines from the song.

Watch the clip below:

Bambam first revealed his familiarity with the song during the group's fan meeting in the Philippines in 2015, held at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

During the question and answer portion, a fan asked, “Since this is your first fan meeting in the Philippines, your Filipino fans would like to know if you picked up any Filipino words or song?”

“I know one Filipino song. I'll sing it. If you guys know this song, but I'm not sure, so please sing with me,” Bambam shyly responded.

With the spotlight on him, he then sang, “Sa iyong ngiti ako'y nahuhumaling / At sa tuwing ikaw ay gumagalaw ang mundo ko'y tumitigil / Para lang sa'yo ang awit ng aking puso / Sana'y mapansin mo rin ang lihim kong pagtingin.”

Afterward, members Yugyeom and Jackson Wang declared, “Bambam is a great singer! Main vocal”

“This song is really sad, but I love it so much,” the Thai performer added.

While it is unclear how Bambam stumbled and learned the song, Filipino fans couldn't help but gush that the idol still remembers the song by heart five years later.

One fan wrote on Twitter, “Bam singing 'Ngiti' made my heart flutter because he still remembers the song. He also sounded like a Filipino when he sang it. Lemme cry in the corner.”

Another fan said, “Bambam sang 'Ngiti' and mentioned gwapo in their live… Filo stans winning!!!”

Meanwhile, a netizen noticed, “It's just cute how Bambam sang 'Ngiti' way back in 2015 with that red hair color and how he sang it this 2020 with the same color.”

Another added, “I'm going to sleep well later knowing Bambam can still sing a bit of 'Ngiti.' Like, Youngjae just asked him what it is, and he remembered it after a few seconds.”

Now the real question is, when can we see a Bambam and Ronnie Liang collab for “Ngiti?”
