Following their departure from JYP Entertainment, GOT7 members have all been busy releasing their own tracks and trying out acting.

However, one member seems to have been out of the music spotlight for a while and that's none other than the K-pop group's very own leader, Jay B.

Initially, fans were wondering what the idol has been doing since he hasn't announced which company he'll be signing to since January.

As it turns out, Jay B has been busier than ever as he has been taking his position as leader very seriously in the last two months, mostly, working out the legalities and paperwork of the group before releasing their track “Encore.”

Jay B explained in his Instagram Stories, as translated by @defdaily, “Ah! So what have I been up to?

“I really wanted to release the song [Encore] so I've been taking care of the paperwork that needed to be done behind the scenes.

“I've been studying things like distribution, trademarks, sales, and operational matters so that I can finalize everything.”

He added, “It's not that I haven't been doing anything. If you look at it the other way, you could say that I've been the busiest behind-the-scenes. Hahaha. Yeah, just saying that's how it's been.

“It's not something that has been revealed, but I thought that it would be good for you gust to know what I've been up to.

“You can see it like, I've done everything a leader should do. Haha.”

He also mentioned that since taking on a more managerial role, he almost had no time for himself and how he wants to work on his own projects, too.

Since his update, many fans commended the GOT7 leader and expressed their appreciation for him and all of his hard work.

So basically Jaebeom is the reason we could get encore. He took care of all the paperwork and thanks to him GOT7 could release music again after leaving that company ;.;

jaebeom was studying trademarks and distribution handling all the paperwork, jinyoung wrote encore and mark was the executive producer of encore. no one loves got7 more than got7.

Jaebeom mentioned working abt copyrights, distribution, trademarks, sales to finalise everything. We wouldnt have had WM as a distributor nor encore, if it wasnt for Jaebeom doing all this work. He wasn't vocal about it, but he's is the mvp in all that we've witnessed last months
