Look who's officially signed in BH Entertainment!

GOT7's Park Jinyoung, known mononymously as Jinyoung, has signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment, the same agency that houses prominent South Korean actors like Lee Byung-hun, Park Bo-young, Ahn So-hee, Lee Jin-wook, Han Ga-in, Lee Ji-ah, and so much more.

A source from the agency stated, “Through BH Entertainment's system, we will provide both material and emotional support for Jinyoung's diverse career as an actor and musician.

Following the confirmation, BH Entertainment released an Instagram post to welcome the K-pop idol in the family.

It said in Korean, “Actor Jinyoung becomes part of BH's family. Please give him a lot of support and love.”

News reports of Jinyoung's contract with BH Entertainment started in late December 2020, although it was not confirmed back then.

At the time, a source from the agency stated, “I have not heard anything about an exclusive contract,” but reportedly did not deny having a meeting with Jinyoung.

At the moment, Jinyoung is starring in a new drama titled The Devil Judge, which will tell the story of a head judge who turns the court into a reality show to punish evil.

The drama is said to star acclaimed actors Ji Sung as Kang Yo-han, the titular “devil judge,” and Kim Min-jung as the female lead.

Starring alongside them is Jinyoung, who will play the role of judge Kim Ga-on and is scheduled to air sometime this year.

With his exclusive contract signed and sealed, Jinyoung is making huge progress in his acting career, making him one of the most promising K-pop idols turned actors of his generation.

As a matter of fact, just last year, he received recognition at the 2020 Asia Artist Award (AAA) for Potential Actor Award for his role as the young Han Jae-hyun in When My Love Blooms.

He said during his speech, “Hello, this is GOT7's Jinyoung. I don't think I'm well-deserved, but I was awarded this big award.

“I would like to thank all the senior actors, colleagues, and directors of 'When My Love Blooms.'

“To meet this with such high expectations, I will come back with great acting as well as a great project. Thank you so much!

“I'm really thankful to all our fans, Ahgases, thank you! Although it's a little awkward for me to be receiving an award without my members, thank you so much for loving me as an actor as well.

“I hope to be someone who fits the description of an 'actor.'”
