After much anticipation, GOT7 member Yugyeom has officially announced his signing with AOMG, the hip-hop and RnB label founded by fellow K-pop idol Jay Park.
To mark his new milestone and career stepping stone, Yugyeom released a special dance performance video of “FRANCHISE” by Travis Scott featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.
In the more than one-minute clip, fans can see the GOT7 maknae (youngest member) in his element, grooving to the beat in a construction-like site together with other professional dancers and choreographers.
Take a look at Yugyeom's dance visual below:
In Yugyeom's personal Instagram, GOT7 members Bambam, Youngjae, and JB congratulated Yugyeom on signing and releasing the dance visual.
Bambam said, “You are the best, my skrrt”
Together with the release of the video, AOMG announced that Yugyeom had joined the label by sharing, “We are happy to announce that Yugyeom is officially signed with AOMG to take a new step together.
“Please keep your eyes ou on Yugyeom's various musical activities with AOMG.”
Concurrently, the AOMG founder celebrated Yugyeom's signing by posting a video of themselves dancing inside a studio to a seemingly new track from the singer.
“He said I inspired him to become an artist… I said let me help you become one,” wrote Jay Park in the caption.
“@yu_gyeom, welcome to the fam! #aomg #dongaskmeboutthesong #ineedachachabeatboy.”
Yugyeom and the rest of GOT7 left JYP Entertainment earlier this year after deciding not to renew their contracts with the label.
Members Jackson Wang and Youngjae are currently with Sublime Agency, Jinyoung with BH Entertainment.
Mark Tuan, who recently returned to Los Angeles, has just opened his own studio and released his single “One in a Million.”
