Recently, the 73rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards unveiled its list of nominees.
Of course, Green Bones proudly emerged as one of the frontrunners as it earned over 10 nominations!
Leading the accolades was Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo, who secured a Best Actor nod for his powerful portrayal of Dom Zamora. Ruru Madrid followed with another Best Supporting Actor nomination, while Alessandra De Rossi earned a spot in the Best Supporting Actress category.
Director Zig Dulay was also honored with a Best Director nomination.
The film itself was announced to be in the running for Best Visual Effects, Best Sound, Best Musical Score, Best Screenplay, Best Editing, and the coveted Best Picture award.
Green Bones was a standout entry at the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival, winning six major awards: Best Actor (Dennis Trillo), Best Supporting Actor (Ruru Madrid), Best Child Performer (Sienna Stevens), Best Screenplay (Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza), Best Cinematography (Neil Daza), and Best Picture.
Recently, it also won at the 8th Entertainment Editors' Choice Awards (The EDDYS) along with one of its producers, GMA Pictures.
